Texas Nonsubscribers And Responsible Nonsubscription

The Texas Association of Responsible Nonsubscribers or TXANS has led the effort to promote the use of sound and ethical practices relating to injury prevention and the provision of quality workplace injury benefits by Texas non-subscribers to employees for nearly twenty years. A Texas nonsubscriber is a business that opts out of the Texas workers' compensation system and responsible nonsubscribers provide specific types of injury benefit programs as Texas nonsubscribers. TXANS provides specialized programs and services to help Texas employers succeed as responsible non-subscribers. TXANS believes that the option to provide benefits as nonsubscribers is a privilege and not a right. As such TXANS also works to with lawmakers to address important public policy objectives so that the freedom to choose injury benefit options can continue.
