NEW LABOR RELATIONS BOARD DECISIONS THAT IMPACT NON-UNION EMPLOYERS TO BE DISCUSSED AT TXANS 22ND ANNUAL NONSUBSCRIBER CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION
San Antonio attorney Robert Bettac of Ogletree, Deakins will discuss recent decisions by the National Labor Relations Board in an upcoming presentation, Union-Free but not Scot-Free: A Warning for Non-Union Employers, at TXANS 22nd Annual Nonsubscriber Conference & Exhibition in Austin, Texas.
Recent decisions by the National Labor Relations Board are making it easier for unions to organize under the National Labor Relations Act while simultaneously increasing compliance costs for employers. New initiatives add new regulatory requirements for employers while also increasing enforcement mechanisms, policies and procedures.
Robert Bettac represents employers before the National Labor Relations Board and offers professional advice on union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and unfair labor practice charges. Mr. Bettac has practiced labor and employment law in San Antonio since 1979 and has considerable experience on the practical side of employee relations, having held management positions in personnel and labor relations for five years before becoming an attorney.
TXANS 22nd Annual Nonsubscriber Conference and Exhibition is scheduled for March 21-22, 2012 in Austin, Texas. TXANS Annual Nonsubscriber Conference is a key educational resource for employers and industry professionals who provide and support the provision of workplace injury benefits outside traditional workers’ compensation.
