LAWMAKER TO SPEAK AT TXANS' NORTH TEXAS CHAPTERS
Representative Zedler, who proudly serves the mid-cities area in the Texas House of Representatives, will review many of the issues lawmakers will face when they return to Austin, including potentially the most prominent issue: another reform of the Texas workers' compensation system.
During the interim Representative Zedler has been very involved with the studies surrounding the impending reform effort and has taken strong stands in favor of employers and the health care industry. Representative Zedler is a member of the House Committee on Business and Industry, one of three House committees charged with studying workers' compensation in Texas and providing recommendations regarding potential reform measures to the entire legislative body.
Representative Zedler attained the rank of First Lieutenant in the United States Army, where he served a tour of duty in Vietnam and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. After completing his military career, Representative Zedler began a long and successful career in the health care industry.
The 2005 Legislative session will be important to Texas nonsubscribers and TXANS is honored to host Representative Zedler to gain a first-hand look at what is being planned. We invite you to join us for this informative presentation and invite other nonsubscribers to join this meeting and TXANS' effort to protect and preserve the future of nonsubscription in Texas.
